Croppin and Some Mojo!

HiYa everyone! Today is Friday and I am ready for the Sabbath to

come in so that we can have some rest and quality time with God.

We are having a BLAST down at the Shanty and would LOVE for you

to join us. The crop last until April 2 so you still have PLENTY of time

to come visit and have a little scrappin fun!

LOOOOONG Weekend....but good stuff happening

Soooooooooooooooooo, so, so, sooooooo, it was a very long and stressful

weekend. Today I am wiped out but very happy about the many blessings

in our life right now. This week is my first week officially at Mojo Holder

site is up top featuring hubby and myself! I am also EXTREMELY excited

I just LOVE Prima products which they exclusively sale so CAN'T wait to

I FINALLY have PCI,s March tutorial ready and set to go sometime tonight

or early tomorrow and have already announced the winner for Feb.

More Projects

Just busy, busy, busy with projects and deadlines! It is all fun stuff though!

I am trying to pacify myself until Marches Scarlet Lime kit gets here.

Hopefully it will get here tomorrow PLEASE! LOL!

Hubby will be getting off of work early due to working at the branch here in

Pahrump so that means more family time. We have started a new business

venture that you all may want to check out. I will be giving more details on

about it later. We are SUPER excited and it gives us the opportunity to do

something that I have been dreaming about my whole life!!!

God is just working out so many things for us right now in ways that we

couldn't have imagined. Sometime next year we will be out of the country

for two weeks. We were invited to do our first missionary trip!!! It will probably

invovle our music ofcourse and just being able to connect with others around

the globe and share the love of Christ. We are very excited about that as

well.

Zee Haircut....

Hiya everyone! It was a blah Monday today but isn't every

Monday. Just stop by to share Jadons very FIRST haircut!!!

As you can see in the before photo this little one had LOTS

of hair. We finally decided to let him get it cut. He was so

not for it at first but after a balloon and a girl scout cookie he

was good to go. Now he REALLY looks like daddy!

I am working on PCI's tutorial to go out on the 15th along

with the winner of the RAK for Februarys project. There

is also going to be some new fun things that I am adding as

well. This is just a reminder. My life is FULL of projects

from DT goodies to working on getting published finally. I

am SO bad with submitting but all that is about to change

NOW. I would also like to thank all who stop by to visit my

little corner of the world. It is so good to know that I have

creative friends around the world who share more than just

the love of but also the love of Christ. What a blessing you

all are!

Been thinking a lot about time since my stepfather passed and since

OLW has a time challenge I thought it only right to create a time page.

I know that there is a time for everything. Sometimes it just hurts.

Hello, I've Got Somethin to Tell You....

ok, maybe several things but all positive. I will be joining the Mojo Holder

lovlies here, http://mojoholder.typepad.com/, next week or so!

I get to have some scraplifting fun as I join their team of SUPER

talented ladies. Hey, it's not all about what you get but what you give

so I am giving inspiration. That is enough motivation for me. The

next bit of news is actually secret news so I really can't say anything

right now about it. I am REALLY excited about though! It is coming up

real soon so you all won't have to wait very long to find out.

Next we have an AWESOME sponsor for this month of March Around The

Block! YAAAY Scrap Shanty!!! They were SUPER generous!!! I created a card using some of their

products and sketch # 54 from CPS and the Happy page you see up top.

Time

This past Thursday, as some of you might know, my Stepfather
passed away. For the last couple of days it all seems so sureal and
I can't seem to wrap my mind completely around the whole
passing just yet. He had been quite ill for many years and the doctors
said that it was a miracle how his body held on for so long. My Stepfather
Michael, had been battling many serious health problems and was in
so much pain that it would be selfish of us to want him to stay in living
in this world like that. Everyone has been asking how am I and all I
can say is that it is a happy sad time. I rejoice because he surrendered
in the latter part of his life to God and that he is no longer in pain and suffering.
I mourn simply because he is not here anymore. What I remember most
about my Stepfather is his love for math, cooking, and art. We spent a great
deal of time in art talk when his health wasn't so poor and he would always
tell me if I wanted him to teach me his recipes he would love to do so. My
heart breaks knowing that it will never come to pass now. I think that I would
have been a top notch chef after he was through with me.
The Word says that there is a time for everything. May God be with my
Mother, Jonathan (Michael's son), Stephanie(Michael's daughter), my sisters,
and other family members and friends in this great time of mourning.
May God be our great comforter.

Mid last week one of my lovely fellow designers at ScrapShanty

told me about this REALLY COOL picture editing site picnik.com!

I was whining over the fact that I didn't have photoshop. It is

just WAY out of our range right now but picnik is FREE. I played

around with it a little bit and it is AMAZING! I just may do the

premium membership which is only like $24.00 a year! That is WAY

within our range and you get WAY more features. Thanks Mikki!

This cheered me up a little bit.

I have not forgotten about PCI's drawing for FEB. It may be some

time today or tomorrow before I get to it but I will get to it.

There is also going to be some great new things being added to PCI!

I want it to be more interactive so stay tuned for that and this months

turtorial.
