Hello Six Months

Well, here I am at six months and boy am I tired. It
seems to be getting worse the further along I get.
I went for my ultrasound and they said that it looks
like another girl is on the way but then said they can't
be completely sure. I know that they can't tell 100%
but she made sound as if she REALLY was not sure
so I have to stick with the neutral colors. I know that
you all want to stare at the way that I carry. It is
absolutely strange and see my brace over to the side.
That is what I have to wear when the weight tends
to be a little too much which is most of the time. LOL!
Anywho, 6 down and 3 more to go and I am FINISHED
for good. No more babies for me. LOL!

Inspired By Prima n Moxie Fab!!!

Well, I bought these GORGEOUS Prima flowers from Two Peas

and when I saw them in person I just knew I had to create little

art flowers all my own!!!

I came up with these. I really don't know what to call them but

that not the most important thing. The important thing was after

making them......................................................................................

I USED THEM!!!!!!!

A dear friend of mine from the band that we are in gave me this

little box of chocolate samples. I did what any preggy artist woman

would have done. I ate the chocolates and altered the box!!! =)

with this color combo in which I am CRAZY about right!!! Thanks

Slowly But Surely

That is what it feels like anyways. Still wanting to
blog more and share more. I know that I will get
there soon. I have been doing lots better though
so I shouldn't beat myself up. LOL!



I stopped by to share some Sassafras love! They
are having this challenge where you dig out the
goodies you have been admiring but just haven't
had the heart to dig into yet. Well here is mine. I
have such a bad habit of buying pretty scrapbooking
goods and not being able to cut into them. Some-
times it is just so hard but I did it!!!

Just A Few Things

So yesterday for first time in my life I actually watched
the superbowl. For those that know me I DO NOT like
football at all!!!! I just didn't get it and never seemed like
a fun sport to me not even when I played in school. The
church was having a get together though to fellowship
and watch so I thought WHY NOT! Thanks to a really
great friend in the band I was able to understand it a
WHOLE lot better and actually got excited during some
parts of the game. SURPRISE?! Yes, for me it was. Oh
the twist and turns of life.




Here are a few challenge projects that I did. This first one
is a challenge on the Embellish Magazine site.

The challenge was to use a color combo and ribbon. I just
recently found this site and LOVED it right from the start.
They have tons of inspiration!!!

This second project is a DT page that I made for Crop Suey

featuring a special guy. I figured I would give it a little twist

and make it about my SIL new dog Otto. OH MY GOODNESS!

This dog is SO SWEET and I fell in love with him instantly.

His paws are HUGE and he is going to be just that when he

hits adulthood. Adorabable!!! Please come play along with us

So Sad....

Yes, it is sad but true. My poor camera has been neglected.
I just have not been motivated to take any photos lately. It
just happened!!! I'll just blame it on having a preggy moment.

Wishing...

I find myself wishing for some things lately. It is said be careful
what you wish for it just may come true. Does that really make
it better for us? Just something to ponder.
Anyhow, I finished a couple of projects along with a project done
not so long ago in my book and decided to share. Enjoy!



This is a wall hanging that I created to hang with a series. It is
the first of a few. I used American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Making
Memories, and there is a little Scenic Route in there as well.

This layout was created using Upsy Diasy Man About Town,

Making Memories, K&Com., American Crafts, and some other

little tid-bits.

This invite is all American Crafts. Super FUN!!!!!!

Well, one of my wishes was to be at CHA right about now

but for those who were able to go I hope are having a blast.

How can they not right! LOL!

I Am So Laughing At Myself...

I just had to post this tid-bit of info right now.
DIY? I had been seeing this around everywhere
but could not figure out what it stood for.
FINALLY I sat here browsing on Elsie's blog
and decided to think this thing through.
It just dawned on me that it meant Do It
Yourself!!!! Dugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am staring right at what it stands for. Boy

What's UP?!!!

Yes, I know, I have been MIA for about a week but for
a good reason. All last week I was preparing for a week-
end drive back to Vegas. My MIL was having a small
family gathering to celebrate her 60th birthday. If you
saw her would never think! She is beautiful. I took pics
but like always I am never satisfied until I edit a little.
We had a lovely time and ofcourse I had to go and visit
my beautiful mother as well who also does not look her
age. Looking back on my blog I realized that I have never
posted a pic of her!!! It is not my fault because she does
not like taking pics and most of the ones we do get is when
she is off guard. LOL!!! I know, cruel....





Here are a few things that I finished before I left. I have
SO many scraps that actually inspires me when going through
them all so why not create with them. They can't sit around
looking pretty forever.

That is pretty much all I can muster up right now. I get

really tired still and need to take tons of break from any-

thing that stimulates me. My mind just shuts down.

I Can Feel It!!!

Happy Monday to you all! Today I am feeling the
preggies big time. I am now about 5 months and
it is just taking my breath away. There are so many
people when looking at me who question the way
I carry. It looks weird, I know, but I did carry Jadon
and Leilani the same way. My stomach will blow
up at about 7 months and then I will just be all
belly. I need a brace of some sort seriously. My
mother carried all six the same way too and had
to lift her belly onto the counter just to wash dishes.
LOL!!! We are tiny folk...
Can't wait to meet our third though who LOVES
to hang out on my bladder constantly!



In other news look who I will be designing for!!!

us all back to heart of what scrapbooking is all about.

I am Trying...

If I blog every other day I will be happy. LOL! Down here at
the home front we are enjoying a few things like this....

and my new fave drink!!! They have all sorts but my fave is

the immunity. They all taste like liquid taffy but healthy!!!

I also have a couple of projects to share before I go. I am being

attacked now by allergies. Being pregnant for me is not such a

pleasant thing. Here we have CPS sketch #148. This little card

gave me a hard time but I finally got it to where I wanted it and

that is always a great feeling.

Here is a just because I want to create page. I LOVE this picture

of Jadon even though taken a while ago. He has SO much energy

but when he is like this it's heaven for me to watch him.

Well, I have to go make something to eat and then nap for

about 10 seconds. LOL!

First Projects of the New Year!

You know when first started scrapbooking about
five years ago I really did not like making cards
and you would NEVER catch me working with an
8x11 size layout. It is just amazing how things
change. I now LOVE making cards and really don't
mind the 8x11 size page. I grew! LOL! Anyhow,
here are a few challenges that I did to start off
this year.


I just started posting my work again in my online
galleries and ran across this lovely card sketch site.

I was invited just to play along with the challenges
so that is exactly what I did. Here is my take on
sketch 43. I made the flower that is on top of the
ribbon simply by drawing out flower petals than
adhering them together. I made the twisted vine
from decor tissue.


I did this challenge but didn't get a chance to post it
on Moxie Fabs Tuesday Trigger but better late than
never!

I can not tell you how much I

missed creating.

All Kinds of Wonderful

I don't know about you but it is always a little difficult to get

out of the groove of the holidays. The toys are still half opened,

the kids are still singing, and there tends to be a lack of

motivation to put away decor. To help me say goodbye I

figured why not do a last post of some wonderful things at the

turn of a new year so here we go.

Here is my take on my fave sketch from CPS #147.

Just a late card I did using a Moxie Fab challenge.

Here is a noel banner that I made which was such a delight

to make. I am hooked on making these lovely handmade

roses. The tutorial can be found on Tim Holtz blog during

his 12 days of Christmas tags. What an inspiration he is!

At the mall they had this really neat light show and this

huge tree.

I saved the best for last ofcourse! Here my little jewels.

They really were not in the mood for a photo shoot but

I managed to get a few shots that I was satisfied with.

Such little cuties they are. They were a hit and were

very blessed. I think that I am just about ready now

to move on and start anew this year. I really haven't

made a resolutions list but one thing that I do want

to do is blog more. It is not a huge thing but it is something

important to me. Maybe I will make this year an

adventure year and make an adventure book like on

the movie Up. That was cute! Any how that is it for!

Coming up soon is an acutul page that I did. It has been

a long time coming.
