NSD and Daily Matters...

I am back again with a few things on my mind like
being ready to have Kyria. Can you tell in this
photo? My face looks so chunky to me. Grin..........

Here is my 8 month big bump! I can barely put my
my socks on, stand, walk, breath, etc. LOL!
Everyone keeps telling me that I am not going to
make it and like I said, I believe every word of it!!!

This shower gift made me want to cry seriously!!! I only
really wanted the spray which would have made me
extremely happy but when I opened the bag and saw
the complete set I was overwhelmed. Thank you just
doesn't cut it but THANK YOU ELLIOT!!! Now all I have
to do is make a trip to Canada somewhere to get my hands
on a scent that used to be sold here in the US Seasplash
by Naturistic. Are you familiar?

Here is one of the blankets that was made for baby Kyria!
A friend at church Jamie made a small one and then one
a bit larger of the same colors. Absolutely gorgeous colors!

Sunday Evening

1. I could not find my old charger adapter ANYWHERE

so I had to go and buy a universal adapter which is

pretty cool. It is just one of those bitter sweet things.

You lose something only to gain something better at

a price that is.

2. We had the baby shower today and it turned out

pretty good. I am very thankful for such great people

to help out on this last baby venture. I HAVE to show

u all later what my sweet friend Elliot (from the band)

bought just for mommy later. Also several of the

ladies knitted or crocheted these GORGEOUS

baby blankets!!! I have take pics of those as well.

Today in LA...

Good morning. Today in LA it is a little cold and cloudy right

about now which makes it difficult to mentally wake up. I

actually LOVE days like this.

I was browsing some of my fave blogs and came across a

question that I thought might give a little bit more insight on

getting to know me.

If you really knew me well you would know..............................

my greatest fear is going blind!

It is very true! With having an awareness of art and how

much it means to me to see everything around me

it truely is a gift. I may not have perfect vision but the

vision that I do have and am extremely grateful for and

it is one thing I don't complain about.

Well, that is my little thought for today!

Now to go give the kiddies a shower.

Hello there everyone! Just shooting by to share a few pages
inspired by some wonderful sketches. This was another thing
that I was really did do until recently and I am relearning
that inspiration comes from everywhere!

This first page is based off of Primas BAP for April. I have a
hard time with leaving so much white space on a page so this
was a challenge! I enjoyed the process much to my surprise
and it came together with very little effort. Thanks Prima!!!

On another note the baby is starting to drop

and the Brextons are getting REALLY uncomfortable!

I am trying to get that 10 hour a day sleep

issue in but it is still quite hard to do. The baby

shower is this Sunday after church service which

is VERY cool because everyone will already be

there. I hope to have either found my adapter to

my battery charger for my camera or have bought

one. I have looked EVERYWHERE for that thing

and just can't locate it!

Oh well...

I will get pics somehow.

Now to go rest up a little before having to go to service

tonight.

Well, I am now at that stage where EVERYTHING is painful.
Not hospital type pain just uncomfortable. Everyone around
me are like cheerleaders shouting GO CANDY GO!!! YOU
CAN DO IT!!! LOL!!! I tryed getting a pic of myself but my
battery is dead to my camera now and I misplaced the charger.
MUST find that! At least I got a chance to get a few pics of
my latest creations even though the lighting stinks.

It is sort-of late and the doc says I need more sleep.

would be a miracle if I got that much sleep daily but

I have to try. There is a bigger and longer post coming

So my days have been filled with these.

Well, ofcourse my little skittles but appointments.
I can not tell how many times this week I have
been in and out of the doctors office. The kids are
ok. The appointments were for me. Don't worry
because I am ok too it is just that time for back
to back scheduling. When I go out I am like a show
to everyone because of the way I carry. I have
mentioned this several times but I just have to
keep saying it. They can't believe that there is a
baby inside this basketball shaped womb but I
assure them that there is. It is felt everynight
when I wind down and the baby starts to party. LOL!
Why always at night?!!!

I will try to get a pic up of my 7th month belly and a
few new creations soon.

New Creations New Inspiration

Morning, sorry I have been a little quiet. Just baby on the
brain more and more day by day. I finally managed to pick
out a name!!! Kyria Faith Reszko. The first name means
noble woman and ofcourse Faith is pretty much straight
foward. I am really satisfied with this name and think that
it is quite lovley. Let me know what ya think!

On to some creations. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Pagemaps
and have ALWAYS wanted to be a faithful follower and
creator of projects based off the sketches. This is the recent

Along with the sketch is my take on it!!!

I have such a weakness for layering and this page is no exception.

Lots of layers. The page had to include some that we appreciate

from day to day so I thought about sunshine. Being a stay-at-home

mom sometimes means that you stay indoors a little too much.

When you don't have your own house and happen to live in

and apartment it makes it that much harder because there is no

yard of any kind. There happen to be little areas around where

I can take Lani out and just sit, watch her, and enjoy a few rays

of sunshine. In those moments there is nothing like it. Thank

you Pagemaps for a little reflecting and clarity!

Making Up My Mind

it is me trying to make up my preggy little mind. I just had to get the

Exploring and Expecting

Hey all! Hope your day is going great thus
I am having somewhat of a difficult time
carrying around the baby and now have to
wear the brace all the time. SIGH...
O well, it could be worse. Today I felt ok
enough to take my little flower outside. She
is getting more and more into taking pics
which a HUGE thing for her! I am so happy!

She was happy too until see saw this little critter. LOL!

I had to go through this whole explanation of what it was,

that it was more afraid of her, they don't hurt, etc,.

In the end she spend most of time begging me to keep

one. Yes, they are all over. I then had to tell her that

there is no way we could catch it or keep it. They are

meant to be free. She spent the remainder of our time

outside searching out and observing lizards.Oh, and

humming birds.....

Baby is on the brain for me as well so this weekend I

made these two projects!

There is some yummy American Crafts and Prima working

together. I handmade the flowers inspired again by Primas

Innoscence flowers. I also drew and hand cut the white

butterfly as well. FUN!!!

I decided to make this mini log album for my stay once

in the hospital to have the baby. Since this is my last for

sure I want to remember as much as possible about

the giving birth experience.This mini was created using

Jillibean Chicken Noodle and Jillibean Sprouts with a

little Sassafras thrown in.

I have really been missing taking photos and such so due to me
having to slow down day by day I thought it might be time again.
Oh and we FINALLY HAVE INK in our printer again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That motivated me a great deal as well. We had to buy all the
colors over again because we had not used it in such a long while.
They all had dryed out!

On to a few projects. I created this card based off of the recent
pagemaps challenge. I have ALWAYS LOVED her sketches but
never got around to doing one until now. This was fun!!!

Here is a quick pic of my littel butterfly! We were picking

up Jadon from school. I tryed getting a pic of Jadon but

he totally wasn't feeling it.

of the rides that they were not afraid of!

Hello Six Months

Well, here I am at six months and boy am I tired. It
seems to be getting worse the further along I get.
I went for my ultrasound and they said that it looks
like another girl is on the way but then said they can't
be completely sure. I know that they can't tell 100%
but she made sound as if she REALLY was not sure
so I have to stick with the neutral colors. I know that
you all want to stare at the way that I carry. It is
absolutely strange and see my brace over to the side.
That is what I have to wear when the weight tends
to be a little too much which is most of the time. LOL!
Anywho, 6 down and 3 more to go and I am FINISHED
for good. No more babies for me. LOL!

Well, I bought these GORGEOUS Prima flowers from Two Peas

and when I saw them in person I just knew I had to create little

art flowers all my own!!!

I came up with these. I really don't know what to call them but

that not the most important thing. The important thing was after

making them......................................................................................

I USED THEM!!!!!!!

A dear friend of mine from the band that we are in gave me this

little box of chocolate samples. I did what any preggy artist woman

would have done. I ate the chocolates and altered the box!!! =)

Slowly But Surely

That is what it feels like anyways. Still wanting to
blog more and share more. I know that I will get
there soon. I have been doing lots better though
so I shouldn't beat myself up. LOL!

I stopped by to share some Sassafras love! They
are having this challenge where you dig out the
goodies you have been admiring but just haven't
had the heart to dig into yet. Well here is mine. I
have such a bad habit of buying pretty scrapbooking
goods and not being able to cut into them. Some-
times it is just so hard but I did it!!!

Just A Few Things

So yesterday for first time in my life I actually watched
the superbowl. For those that know me I DO NOT like
football at all!!!! I just didn't get it and never seemed like
a fun sport to me not even when I played in school. The
church was having a get together though to fellowship
and watch so I thought WHY NOT! Thanks to a really
great friend in the band I was able to understand it a
WHOLE lot better and actually got excited during some
parts of the game. SURPRISE?! Yes, for me it was. Oh
the twist and turns of life.

Here are a few challenge projects that I did. This first one
is a challenge on the Embellish Magazine site.

The challenge was to use a color combo and ribbon. I just
recently found this site and LOVED it right from the start.
They have tons of inspiration!!!

This second project is a DT page that I made for Crop Suey

featuring a special guy. I figured I would give it a little twist

and make it about my SIL new dog Otto. OH MY GOODNESS!

This dog is SO SWEET and I fell in love with him instantly.

His paws are HUGE and he is going to be just that when he

hits adulthood. Adorabable!!! Please come play along with us

Wishing...

I find myself wishing for some things lately. It is said be careful
what you wish for it just may come true. Does that really make
it better for us? Just something to ponder.
Anyhow, I finished a couple of projects along with a project done
not so long ago in my book and decided to share. Enjoy!

This is a wall hanging that I created to hang with a series. It is
the first of a few. I used American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Making
Memories, and there is a little Scenic Route in there as well.

This layout was created using Upsy Diasy Man About Town,

Making Memories, K&Com., American Crafts, and some other

little tid-bits.

This invite is all American Crafts. Super FUN!!!!!!

Well, one of my wishes was to be at CHA right about now

but for those who were able to go I hope are having a blast.

What's UP?!!!

Yes, I know, I have been MIA for about a week but for
a good reason. All last week I was preparing for a week-
end drive back to Vegas. My MIL was having a small
family gathering to celebrate her 60th birthday. If you
saw her would never think! She is beautiful. I took pics
but like always I am never satisfied until I edit a little.
We had a lovely time and ofcourse I had to go and visit
my beautiful mother as well who also does not look her
age. Looking back on my blog I realized that I have never
posted a pic of her!!! It is not my fault because she does
not like taking pics and most of the ones we do get is when
she is off guard. LOL!!! I know, cruel....

Here are a few things that I finished before I left. I have
SO many scraps that actually inspires me when going through
them all so why not create with them. They can't sit around
looking pretty forever.

That is pretty much all I can muster up right now. I get

really tired still and need to take tons of break from any-

thing that stimulates me. My mind just shuts down.

I Can Feel It!!!

Happy Monday to you all! Today I am feeling the
preggies big time. I am now about 5 months and
it is just taking my breath away. There are so many
people when looking at me who question the way
I carry. It looks weird, I know, but I did carry Jadon
and Leilani the same way. My stomach will blow
up at about 7 months and then I will just be all
belly. I need a brace of some sort seriously. My
mother carried all six the same way too and had
to lift her belly onto the counter just to wash dishes.
LOL!!! We are tiny folk...
Can't wait to meet our third though who LOVES
to hang out on my bladder constantly!

In other news look who I will be designing for!!!

I have known about Crop Suey for some time now.

They have taken on a new direction which takes

us all back to heart of what scrapbooking is all about.

I am Trying...

If I blog every other day I will be happy. LOL! Down here at
the home front we are enjoying a few things like this....

and my new fave drink!!! They have all sorts but my fave is

the immunity. They all taste like liquid taffy but healthy!!!

I also have a couple of projects to share before I go. I am being

attacked now by allergies. Being pregnant for me is not such a

pleasant thing. Here we have CPS sketch #148. This little card

gave me a hard time but I finally got it to where I wanted it and

that is always a great feeling.

Here is a just because I want to create page. I LOVE this picture

of Jadon even though taken a while ago. He has SO much energy

but when he is like this it's heaven for me to watch him.

Well, I have to go make something to eat and then nap for

about 10 seconds. LOL!

First Projects of the New Year!

All Kinds of Wonderful

I don't know about you but it is always a little difficult to get

out of the groove of the holidays. The toys are still half opened,

the kids are still singing, and there tends to be a lack of

motivation to put away decor. To help me say goodbye I

figured why not do a last post of some wonderful things at the

turn of a new year so here we go.

Here is my take on my fave sketch from CPS #147.

Just a late card I did using a Moxie Fab challenge.

Here is a noel banner that I made which was such a delight

to make. I am hooked on making these lovely handmade

roses. The tutorial can be found on Tim Holtz blog during

his 12 days of Christmas tags. What an inspiration he is!

At the mall they had this really neat light show and this

huge tree.

I saved the best for last ofcourse! Here my little jewels.

They really were not in the mood for a photo shoot but

I managed to get a few shots that I was satisfied with.

Such little cuties they are. They were a hit and were

very blessed. I think that I am just about ready now

to move on and start anew this year. I really haven't

made a resolutions list but one thing that I do want

to do is blog more. It is not a huge thing but it is something

important to me. Maybe I will make this year an

adventure year and make an adventure book like on

the movie Up. That was cute! Any how that is it for!

Coming up soon is an acutul page that I did. It has been

a long time coming.

like always I got sick with a cold on my birhtday. Yes, I am

now 31! My body is still fighting off this thing so I will try to

Sooooooooooooo, our weekends have been pretty full and full
of blessings if I might add. Here at Westwood all of the children
are assigned to adoptive parents and we were blessed to get a
picture with this lovely family who adopted our little ones!
We didn't get a chance to get a
pic with all of them. The place was packed and it was very hard
to gather everyone together. Thank you so much Goldsteins!!!
I hope I spelled that right!!! LOL!

Here are a few more pics of the festivities. You will never
guess who was there and I had the chance to talk to.
Harrison Ford!!!!!!! Is not that the coolest! I grew up
watching all of his movies including my faves Indiana Jones.
He was there along with Calista who is right there all the
way to the right. Hubby didn't know that he caught a
glimpse of her. They were there as adoptive parents to
one of the families so I thought it rude to ask for a pic.

This is a peek of a noel banner that I am working on. There

are these GORGEOUS flowers that I learned to make on

Tim Holtz blog so you have to go check that out. I didn't

think that I could actually pull it off but I did!!!

I saved the best for last. My little guy is SO cute in his

Something to Ponder

Yet again it is Friday and our days have been full as usual. I am

still in a little bit of shock with it just being me and my baby

girl here during the day. We had a program to go to at church

this week and she let me capture this shot. It is not the clearest

of photos but I have to take it where I can get. She is still just

the cutest in this photo!

Here, http://www.adventconspiracy.org/, is something else that we have been

watching at church. It really has some basic yet powerful points in

which to search your heart about. I am included ofcourse. In the

hustle and bustle of things we have drifted away and lost sight of

what this time of year is all about. This quite often leaves of feeling

empty and not really satisfied. I know that I have gone that whirlwind.

The presentation really helps in refocusing the heart and I would

strongly suggest that everyone check it out.

Well, these are my ponderings for the morning anyways. LOL!!!

Another Day, Something New

Well it's off and running another week that is and guess who is
missing?
My little man Jadon! He started school last Thursday and LOVES
it. I was teaching him before I became pregnant. I then realized
that it wasn't going to happen with me and the sickness and such.
It was hard watching walk out the door with Daddy on his
first day but afterwards I realized the break in which I have not
allowed myself to have. It is now just me and little Lani hangin
together which is quite pleasant because she gets girl time with
mommy. What a little lovely she is. Now for Moxie Fabs
Tuesday Trigger inspiration!

This is what I was inspired to create for this challenge. It is a
simple fold up mini album which is going to packed with this
months fun. We are pretty much booked for the rest of the
weekends leading up to Christmas. This weekend was not
exception. We were all totally wore out. Guess where I am
going to log the fun?! That's right! I am going to log it right
here in my little album.

Happy first of December everyone!!! Can you believe another

year is winding down! I thought it was time for a new banner

and profile pic. Hope you like them both. I also started creating

again and cards seem like the perfect balance for me right now.

Above is this weeks CPS Sketch #144. It is great way for me

transition back into the swing of things not to mention that it

it is a pretty neat sketch. You will also find two more creation

down below based on the CPS sketches.

So now as we say so long to fall it was a time to be grateful for

the many blessings in our lives. I know most can't wait to step

into those winter boots even though here in Los Angeles it is very

hard to get that winter chill right now. It is still pretty nice here.

Well, that it pretty much all I have for now. I was in the middle

of filling out paper work for my son to start school. That is a

whole other story.

Can It Be!!!

Hi there all! I am back again and this time with something that
I have not done for a long time. I had my fears about creating
again. It is a strange thing trying to pick up where you left off
not knowing whether or not your style has changed and what not.
Jumping into it just seemed like a good way to start and not
thinking about it so much. Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger,
www.moxiefabworld.com, is the neatest little challenge idea so
that is where I started.

Here is my take. My husband and I had been talking about a
testimony book or album for the longest. I had started the process
of making one before I left Vegas but those of you who know
the latter events prior to me moving it never was finished. I found
the cutest handmade paper album in our donation center where
we live. It is very plain right now on the outer cover but you know
that I am working on that. This will be our testimony album.

What I have created here are
four origami card holders out of cardstock. I decorated them
and then glued them to the first page of our album. There
is one for Leilani, Jadon, Daddy, and Mommy. I slipped
in each one a small sheet of paper to write down what we
are thankful for on Thanksgiving day. There is also another
slot to slide our photos in. FUN! I am so glad to be creating
again. Thanks Moxie Fab World!!!

A Wonderful Weekend

So this little princess cupcake is now three years old and
such a little joy. I always tell everyone how I was not
prepared at all to have another child at the time. That
quickly changed when I held her for the first time. What
a little doll. We are the process of trying to get her
completely potty trained but she is just taking her precious
little time. She is almost there.

Pop-Pop and Grandma came to visit on the weekend of the
8th and the kids were SO excited. They LOOOOOOOOVE
their grandmas and grandpas. These are just random pics
from the entire weekend including a complete picture of the
band. We had such a great time. Enjoy!!!

Baby Bump

I am just getting to the point of being able to do things
around our apartment again and visit my fave blogs.

We were at the docs office for a follow up concerning
Leilani. She is a healthy and quite active 3 year old and

Hi there gang. I have been missing in action due to a certain thing called morning sickness. Yep, that's right. Hubby and I are expecting our third little critter! I really can't imaging what it is going to be like with three tramping the place down but I am going to find our soon enough. My sickness has not been just the morning but in the evening and at night. NONE STOP! I don't vomit but still it is very exhausting.

Also my little princess officially turned 3 today but it was spent with her and I both sick with a stomach virus. I am going to have to try and get the strength to post their party pics. It has just been so difficult especially when not feeling well.

So there you all have it! Now I am going to lay down and try to feel a little normal.

How's it going all? I would have been on more if it had not been for
this icky under the weather thing. I still feel quite awful right now but
had to gather up enough strength to post. Hubby has been so sweet
for the most part as I woke up several mornings to this lovely set up.

I am also too far behind on the decorations for the party which is
coming up pretty fast here. I really have to try and get it done now.
This thing better let up soon or else.

Guess Who's Five!!!

This little guy turned 5 years old on the fourth!!! I have both anticipated

and feared this day. Jadon is growing up healthy, independent, and

strong which is how it suppose to be but I can no longer really refer to him

as a baby. I admit, I did baby him a lot due to the fact that he is my

first born. He is for sure a mommas boy and a smart little cookie. TOO

SMART sometimes. Oh how I wish to share with you the things that click

inside his mind. It is sometimes scary.

It has not cease to amaze me comparing where we were this time
last year and where we are now. Yes, we still have a ways to go,
but I find myself being more and more grateful for the little things.
In reality it is usually the little things that are priceless. They really
are the big things. So with that I say thank you Lord for watching
over us. For his eye is truely on the sparrow and I know first hand
he is watching over us. May this season in our lives bring strength,
a gratefulness for abundance, and joy. May it bring us one step
closer to each other and our Heavenly Father God.

Praise Picnic

Happy Saturday night to all you! We had such a wonderful
time today at a prasie picnic. Different groups from the Salvation
Army came out to worship, praise, fellowship, and eat. I must
taken well over 100 pics. Never have I ever done that before
for one single event. There was so much going on and the best
part was most of it was Christ centered. It was fantastic!!!
Ofcourse we came back home and just crashed. Hubby went
to sleep at 8:30. He going to be getting up pretty early in the
morning. I have tons more pics to share from today so keep a

Behind The Scenes

Hello all! I pray that everyone is having a very blessed
day. I decided to take the day off from settling in and
turned it into a day to create a little. Mount upon mounts
of pics were just sitting here on our computer waiting to
be posted and most I noticed had to do with the behind
the scenes look at what it is that we do now. There were
so many that I just might have to do a part 2. I also
threw some pics in here of just random behind the scenes
places, things, etc., and my very first video post at the end.
You all get to hear me sing!!!!! HOW FUN IS THAT!!!
The song is called "In Mind", all rights reserved ofcourse,
and it sprung from the story about how I was minutes
away from being aborted when my mother was pregnant
with me. Here we go!

I had taken tons of pics for an invitation we had to make

for Jadon and Leilani's upcoming birthday party. This is

our first time ever planning a party for them on our own

and it is turning out to be quite a fun thing. The reasoning

behind the old look is for their theme. We our going Ragtime!

to play a little swing, and it is just going to be a blast!!!

for the party. The tray is holding little pockets in which I am

So last weekend my children and I went on our very first
boat ride. It was just as I imagined. I had been so sheltered
as a child and really didn't know about anything but Vegas.
My husband is actually responsible for a lot of my first venturings
out and this is no exception. He is always so much more excited
then we are about those types of things. It is actually really cute.

We also had a little visitor make home in our car last Sunday.
Can you believe I rode in the car for a good 5 minutes without
sitting back on it. It wasn't until I got out of the car that I saw
it! Thank the Lord above that I didn't get bit!

My baby sis and her boyfriend came out as well but I didn't get
a chance to take pics. Now this weekend my mother, sister, and
two nieces are coming out. It is going to be very crowed here for
the next couple of days. Until then be blessed and thanks to all
who came by to read my testimony. It feels really good to be used
by God.

Restored

There is no particular way that I want to start this post so I

am just going to start it.

Complacency: self-satisfaction especially when accompanied by

unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies

Sometime last year about mid October this is what we had fell

into. It took root and started to rip our family apart without us

knowing until it was too late. Anger, frustration, bitterness, neglect,

unforgiveness, our past lives, and everything else in between

was allowed into our home with opened arms. My husband

found himself slipping back into past addictions and I found my

heart longing for something beyond what the Lord had given me.

I found myself longing to break the sacred oath that I made with

God and my husband. There is so much that came into play to

get us to that point but when it all comes down to it we became

complacent. That to us meant a lot less prayer and word and a

lot of pleasing ourselves. We became extremely selfish in the

things we wanted out of each other and life as a whole. It became

about self.

After two failed attempts of recovery programs that only lasted

a couple of weeks in Vegas it still was not enough. These programs

in my opinion only further fuiled the fire for self in such a way

that self control and what ever higher power you believed in was

the way to over come. There was no truth. There was no strong

foundation in which to build upon and I wanted nothing to do

with my husband or his recovery. I felt that it was a cop out and

excuse for wanting to do what he wanted to do. My husband ended

up moving into his parents apartment because I no longer wanted

him in the house with our children and myself. At this point he

was on his way to where we are now, California. The VA along

with the Salvation Army decided to bring my husband into a long-

term recovery program that would last for four months. I was

not at all interested or concerned with this at the time and just

wanted out of it all. Vincent kept pleading with me to wait on it

and to come along side him for the family sake. I only would come

back at him with if he was so for the family that he would have

never gone that route in the first place. That was that.

The time came when he had to go and we had somewhat came

back together in a way but the war was still being fought within

me. When my husband was finally shipped off to the program

and pressures of no finances, no home, no nothing at all kicked

in and I was left with the kids to deal with this all by myself I

was sure that I was never going to be with him again. Divorce

was becoming more of a reality for me. Phone calls from him

was no longer excepted from me and it was decide that I just

needed some time with God alone. In God's word divorce

is wrong yet my heart reasoned for it. This was a chance for

God to work in my heart. I needed work within me and couldn't

see it because I was so focused on what my husband was

doing. We both needed a work.

I set out to do what I said I would and that was to pray that
God would work in my heart and restore the love I once had
for my husband. In spite of how hard it was to pray this it was
through the will to obey it was followed through. After two
months went by in which he had been in California almost four
I found out that they changed it to a six month program. That
is when I felt a softning of my heart. Before hand I had written to
him what appeared to be a Dear. John letter which didn't get
to him until this time in which this had occured which created
yet another painful issue to overcome. My husband had met
someone. What a revelation that was. I needed to know
where my heart was on this matter and it was that I still loved
my husband. I had made the horrible mistake of telling that
I did not love him anymore which left him with no hope for us.
We spoke to each other after these two months of not talking
and now his mind had been made up for divorce and that we
should part ways and move on with our lives. This turned my stomach
inside out because I had phoned to tell him the complete opposite.
My, my how the enemy moves in quickly.

This kind of pain is never forgotten and for four days straight,
non stop, I prayed from the bowels of my soul. How is it that
most of the time we have to learn the hard way? Grave mistakes
had been made on both ends. Were we going to live in disobediance?
Were are children going to pay the price for our selfishness? Would
we become yet another chain in a generational curse? After cousiling
with our pastor in Texas we both were reminded of our vow not
to each other but to God first. We were face to face with the fact
that we were putting self first. Somewhere along the lines our
priorities had changed and on the day of our 7th year anniversary
we decided to do something about it. Our gift to God and to each
was the descision to reconcile. We made the choice by the grace of
our mighty God to let NO MAN, not even ourselves, tear apart what
He had brought together. A couple of weeks later we made the trip
out here to my husband after not seeing him for 5 months.
A month later we moved out by faith to be with him even though he
was still in the program. It was set up that we had a place to stay,
I had gotten a job transfer, and all the other details were set for our
arrival but not so. The children and myself ended up in a homeless
status and for almost 2 1/2 months we lived not knowing where
we were going to sleep or eat. My husband still had his program to
finish so he was limited to what he could pitch in to help out. I dared
not go back to Vegas because there was nothing for us left there. All
our help ended being here. I worked very hard to get rushed help
from the state living from motel to motel and feeding the children
and myself from a food card. There were good days and bad days
but what made it all worth was the fact that the children got to see
the face of their father and feel his embrace. Oh how happy they were
to finally see their daddy. Nothing could compare to the joy of knowing
that we were walking in obedience to God. After this trial, and I would
have to say the biggest trial that I have ever faced, we are now fully
back together again in our own apartment. My husband graduated
from the program and faithfully attends meetings at the church. My
husband also runs a band in which we worship and praise side by side.
That has always been a dream of his. There is SO much in between this
story that happened that I could not tell it all in this one post. God is
good!!! He brought us through all of this and tried us through the fire.
We know we still have a ways to go but now we know we are suppose
to do it together looking to our Lord and Saviour as our source of life.

I want to also give an apology to the various DTs that I was serving
on. Life just happens in the most topsy turvy way. Never could I have
imagined going through such a thing. I am DEEPLY sorry for dropping
off the globe and asked for your forgiveness. Please know that I missed
you so.

Finally Home Again

It seems like it has been ages ago that I was last here. So much has happened and so many hard lessons learned. We finally have our internet back up and again which is a HUGE relief for us. I missed being here SO much. My hubby is going to be coming in any moment so I don't really have the time to tell of our great testimony just yet. He is going to do a hostile take over to update everything on the computer and that means EVERYONE moving out the way! LOL!!! Till then I await eagerly for my return here to share what good works the Lord has done.

Where Am I?

Well,
I am way past the point of not having internet right now and have been on this great long journey that has lead me to a place I couldn't imagine I would be.

So I Am Here At The Library....

very frustrated with my internet service right now!!! They were suppose to have service back on within 24 hours which has turned into over a week of waiting and I STILL have to wait until the end of this week for it to be back up again!!! I spoke to 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE who told me 5 different things so you can just imagine how I am feeling right now. Anyhow, I only have less than an hour now and will be back on hopefully by next week. Two Post Day!!!

Hey there, I will be doing two post in a row for two seperate
challenges so bare with me please. =)
This first challenge is being hosted by PaperTray Ink

my go at it! I used last years February Scarlet Lime Kit along

Hi there everyone! It has been a few weeks of being SUPER
busy. First of all I REALLY wish I was able to attend CHA
again. What an AMAZING experience that was last year!!! It
will be something that I will never forget. With that being said

Sniff sniff and cry cry!!! Oh how I wish that I could be there!!!

Have enough fun for me!!!

My babies have been the focal point of my camera as

of late. They are getting so big and I am really noticing

it!

We saw Daddy off last Thursday. He is now in California for up

to four months for long term medical care. His conditions are

not terminal but have been a major problem for as long as he

could remember. He is now set on dealing with them and seeing

it through to the end. Four months is a long time but is worth it

for life long health and healing. Please keep him in your prayers.

Well, that is all she wrote for now. As always I will be back as

soon as I can with some projects that I have pondering about

and working on.

This Is Home

This is the song that has been stuck in my head for the past few
days. The song is by Switchfoot just added to my playlist. I thought
I would stop by to share it. This is what I have been feeling strongly
lately. I felt like I am not truely home and a huge change is about
to take place in my life. A change of great courage and strength. A
change that God has been preparing me for. So now it is a matter
of watching it unfold.

A New Year

I pray that everyone had a very blessed season that has passed.

I am sorry for not finishing up my thankful posts for the week but

as I have said before there are trying times over this way as of

late. I can be thankful though that God brought me through this

somewhat painful holiday season. Through this time though

certain things have been made clear and definate changes are on

the way.

Up above is me at 30!!! I don't look too excited do I. LOL! That is

because I am one of those easy does it kind of people. It takes a lot

to get me to shout for joy over something. It feels the same and I

am just happy to be alive.

I made a stand up card using some American Crafts Christmas

goodies again. It has been finished for a while and I am just getting

around to posting it. I will be back on schedule. You'll see. LOL!

I Am Thankful #3

Tomorrow this is how old I will become. 30. I am thankful
to the Lord for seeing my through yet another year. I thank
him for my health, my strength, and right frame of mind
for the most part. LOL! I don't think that anyone functions
all the time with a full deck. LOL!

For those who do not know the story of my birth or pre-birth.
I was very close to being aborted with my mother and father
sitting the office with papers filled out and appointments made.
They told her that if she were to get pregnant again and
attempt to have the baby (me) she or both of us would die.
My mother had sever complications with my older sister and
almost died because of it. So here she was again. Well, all of a
sudden she rose up, tore up the papers, and told my father
that if God meant it for us both to die than we would die and
if he meant for us to live than we would live. From that night
foward my mother and father prayed for her and myself
every night. They never missed a night praying. My father
would read to me and show me pictures. He would also sing to
me. When the time came to have me mother told me that she
was up helping everyone else out in very little pain and that it
was that way right up until the time she had me. I came right out
with the greatest ease. Praise God! So I am here today standing
on the brink of 30. I am also here now standing on the promises
of God knowing that he will never leave us nor forsake us.

They say that laughter is one of the best medicines
out there and best of all it's free!!! This was painted
on the back of someone truck and I just had take
a pic of it. It had me chuckling for a good while.
I didn't know what I was going to use the photo
for and it goes to show you nothing happens by
chance. I took it for such a time as this.

I Am Thankful #1

Hello all! This is day one in my efforts to pick out the things

that I am most thankful for out of this tough year. Ofcourse

my little gifts that God has blessed me with came to mind.

Jadon is so much like daddy. BUSY and VERY SOCIAL!!!

He is super smart and bossy and has picked up a habit wanting

to chew gum thanks to our pastor and our friend Steve.

Leilani is my little cuttlebug and wants to cuddle all the time.

She is also my danger girl and has a sort of qiet busy about her.

That means I have to keep close tabs on her. LOL! She is also

a lot like me and carries pencil and paper around pretty much

everywhere she goes. My mother said that is exactly how I

was at her age.

They both LOVE MUSIC and will stop dead in their tracks to listen.

Don't try to fool either because they know the good stuff from

the bad!

I created this page with the loveliness of American Crafts

Christmas line, mini marks, and thickers. I must say that

all things American Crafts I love and can't get enough of.

I have the bad habit of wanting use everything on one page

and REALLY have to hold myself back. Even though the pic

is not a Christmas pic everything went perfect with it. Yay!

The Good, The Bad, and The Classic With Snow

Yes, it actually snowed pretty hard here in Vegas first on

Monday and then on Wednesday!!! Wednesday was so bad

that they actually CLOSED THE SCHOOLS DOWN!!! That

is totally unheard of here but it happened. What strange

things lurk and ofcourse it just another sign of the times for

those who know what I mean.

I know I left a lot of details out in the previous post due to

plain tiredness. I visited the strangest park here in town

called the Wetlands. They designed it specifically for certain

wildlife here in the desert. It was on the Sabbath which was

perfect. The other people who are seen is my baby sis Melissa, her

HOPEFULLY soon to be Ricardo, Steve (one of the best guys

I know and friend), and ofcourse my kiddies. We had such

a great time. Gods creations are truely wonderful.

I will be back as soon as possible with some projects and things

of that sort. Until then be blessed!

Happy 1st of December

No, it not snowing here in Vegas which would be a miracle but

we did have some fog which is just as strange here on Thanksgiving.

I pray that everyones turkey day was a blessed one.

I know that I had been gone for a while not by choice but if it happened

it was meant to be as such. We had to move two times in this past month

which was totally not fun at all and just now settling down. My husband

has also been having some serious issues in which he could use your

prayers. He is right now checked into the hospital and we don't know

exactly how long he is going to be there. It going to definately take its

toll on our finances being he is the only working at this time. Please keep

that in your prayers as well. Sorry for such a grim post but life is not

always on the ups. I want to be as real as I can be. There are trials in

in my life just like the next person but through Jesus Christ, family, and

friends we can make it. Trust me, I know it to be a very hard thing and

it is still hard. Hope in the Lord through these times is the ONLY thing

that has really kept me going. Without it I don't know where I would be.

On another note stay tuned for tons of photos and a few projects on the way.

I think that I will start feeling normal again once I get my hands on my artsy

stuff.

Moving Mode Again

month so we have been working extra hard to get everything in
order. I also have a few projects that need to be completed before
we head out to yet another new home adventure. If you don't

So The Plan...

is God's plan. There is no other plan better but most times we
fight it so hard. Take for instance Evan All Mighty. At the end
of the movie Evan said something so simple yet profound. He
had made a statement about God knowing all along the end result
and outcome of his situation AND that He knew that it would
work for Evans own good but Evan fought God every step of the
way. We tend to do this ALL the time and even now there is some
situation or trial in our lives that we are fighting God about
yet we know that He knows what is ultimately best for us. How
insane is that and yet we do it.
I am getting into this because of the signs of the times and
personal issues in my life. Hubby has had to take off work for
the most part of the week due this new medication that he started
for anxiety. It is brutal to the body in all aspects for about 4 weeks.
After that is when we get to see the end results of it being in his
system. So that means little money for us since I am still looking for
work and a postponing of us getting a place of our own. It has to be
done either way so his has to be left in Gods hands plain and simple.
He knows what he is doing.

Here are a few projects that I completed. The page was done for
ScrapFaith and the card was done using the CPS sketch for this
week. I am so sorry that I didn't get a chance to post about the
giveaways and such. Life so gets in the way of us trying to live it. LOL!

The Way Back Home

Happy second day of fall!!! This time of year always puts
me in the mood to go back home. The home in which I
grew up in and when I saw these specialty toys from McDonalds
(very rare we eat there) it just touched my heart. They have
such a classic look and the details are beyond words to me.
The series is by Madame Alexander's Wizard of Oz. I am not
one for collecting things but I sure wouldn't mind having
all the characters from this particular set. They remind me
of the true few friends that we all have in life that always
helps us find the way back home.

Here is a second page for the month that I created with some goodies

from American Crafts ofcourse. My sister has been after this one ever

since I started this one. This is her daughter Kelsey. I guess it's time

to give it up. LOL!

This page I created for ScrapJack! I couldn't resist this time around

and decided to get something together. Hope it's not too late!

We have been working on getting ready to move into a small

little corner of our own. We got rid of SO much stuff that it is

not funny. I figure that it is time for a fresh start with everything.

I am also seeking part-time work so if you all could lift that up

in prayer I sure would appreciate it.

I am off now to eat a litte bit of dinner and relax for the rest of

the night. I feel the woman thing comin on. LOL!

Yesterday Turned into Todays Post!

ADVENTURE about to take way this week starting on Friday the 19th!

Project Post Time!!!

Here are my latest creation over a span of time. I am in the
middle of packing and getting everything organized and am
finally working hard to get published for the first time ever.
LOL!

This is the first of many American Crafts projects. I CAN NOT
get enough of it. Such gorgeousness with everything that they

my first love when it comes to art. Drawing! I have picked this

back up again. This one is not finished but will be soon. I needed

to practice and decided to draw this lovely young lady who just

recently went off to SDA Academy. I am SO proud of her. She

will be on leave soon and I wanted to surprise her with this. She

is going to be SO thrilled!

This colorful page I created for the Bad Girls Kits Top Designer

contest. The assignment was all about layering! You know I was

all over that one!

It has been a while since my last CPS creation so here's to you lovlies

Where Did She Go Again?!

No where. LOL! I have just been extremely busy with life, new projects,
having to move soon from my Mothers place, getting a part-time job, church
ofcourse, and other little odds and ends.

It seems as though our new found adventure has come to a quick end
and it was SO for the best for everyone. To make a long story really short
we had planned on moving some where a lot farther away from Vegas
than I have ever been. We prayed diligently about it and God said no. It
seems like evertime we take a turn to leave here God always leads us back.
A good friend told me that God probably has a plan for me right here in Sin City
as they call it. I know that there are who are seeking it's just a matter of
how He is going to use me to share. So we are staying and that's that.
I will be back tomorrow to share some recent works and to share a recent
craft that I have picked back up again.

Every Wednesday we have prayer meeting in which we memorize a key
scripture. I think this one was from last week. ENJOY!

Serious Prayer and a New Adventure On The Way

No, I am not preggy but we need tons of prayer for the things happening

now and for the things soon to come. We are in the middle of a family crisis

and getting ready to make a HUGE move from Vegas where we will be

surrounded with those we know we can count on. They are our second family

and are of the faith. This will not affect my creative process too much

but I will have to start working and know that the kids will be safe with

them. MAJOR prayers please as we plan this thing through.

It is about that Sabbath time again and I just wanted to let you know that

Just Makes Me Smile

These little creatures brings forth SO much joy. These pics are
from last Sabbath. We went over a friends house after church
to do some extra studies and the kids were getting restless. We
took them outside to let lose for a while. If only us adults were
so easy to amuse.

I have not worked on any projects for two days. I think that I

needed a mental break and the fact that I spent most of the day

going through storage had something to do with it. I just might

try to do a little something tonight before bed. Maybe...

So Last Friday Came Around and...

AaaaaaaHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!! A HUGE American Crafts box was

delivered to the door!!! Talk about a DREAM come true!!! Talk about

overwhelming!!! I am SO siked and ready to get started. THANK YOU

SO MUCH again American Crafts for this honor!!!

Last week I was extremely busy with church and had forgot for a

moment about posting pics of my scrap space. When I finally got

around to remembering I couldn't find them so I had to take new

ones today. It is a mess I know but I think that I work better that

way. If you think this is something you should have seen my art

teachers cubbies when I was in high school!

I didn't get around to starting PCI back up this month but for sure

I know that September will be the month. Things are calming down

a bit, hubby is getting off the blood thinners, assignments are being

turned in almost on time, and all that jazz. LOL! It is still a little nuts

but that is what makes life worth living sometimes. Stay tuned for

Oh The Excitement!!!!

I am SO THRILLED and beyond overwhelmed with

I had actually found out on the two peas board by accident and was
stunned out of my mind! This is a real life scrapbookers dream
come true and I am so honored to be apart of this AMAZING

On another note I picked this back up after years of not playing
I am no professional but I do have the basics down. I used to play
for the church as a child. That is the advantage of having three
older brothers who insist on teaching their sisters a thing or two.
LOL! It sure was fun!

I am working on this little pretty mini just for the joy of it. It is a little

technique that I learned at CHA back in Feb and wanted to try it again.

It will be finished soon along with pics hopefully if I decide not to give it

A Week Already?!!!

Has it been a week already?! Boy oh boy the time sure does fly by!
I was going to do a pic heavy post but then I thought of spreading
it out a little bit. There is just so much editing and I can't leave a picture
untouched.

Here are a couple of bookmarks I created using the Cafe Prima July
kit. I know you all probably know by now that I LOVE bright colors!
There were a few extra goodies added just for the fun of it!

I had created this card for the sketch challenge on Melissa Phillips
blog and never got around to sharing until now. It is late but I still
would like to share it.

My mother found this at a thrift store for one dollar!!! It is old but let

me tell you, it has the BEST sound that I have ever heard from one of

these things. My babies LOVE it!!! Thanks Mom!

LOOK at what I was FINALLY able to get!!! When I went to CHA back

in February I fell completely in love with the CuttleBug. It is finally a

dream come true thanks to Michaels and a 20% off coupon! LOL!!!

I pray that your week has not been too stressful and I will be back

with yet another update on my hubby's condition and what the doc

told him. I am also gearing up to hopefully have a tutorial down for

It is Friday again and almost time for Sabbath. I wanted to get a

quick post in beforehand because I am so bad with bloggin on the

weekends. I will just blame that on the hubby. He LOVES his

family weekend time.

So I finally got my hands on a camera a little bit better than the one

that I have had forever. It served me well and still does but I just

wanted something newer and something that I could add advanced

lenses on. I have tons of learning to do with this one and looking foward

to it. Up top are a few that I took and edited in Picnik. The first two

are of this weeks VBS. Our good friend Ashley LOVES the kids and

they LOVE her!!! Tonight is the final night with a program and small

potluck.

I am off for now to go put some laundry away, cook some pasta, workout,

and whatever comes up after until sundown. Check out the first pic of this

The No Title Post

Just dropping in to share a few projects. The first is this weeks

Mojo Holder challenge. Be sure to stop by to see what the rest

of the team has done. We have some awesome new talent that

is sure to inspire!

Hubby is doing well for the most part. His blood level is right

where it needs to be and I am praying that it stays there. They

say that the blood thinners are tricky. He has an appt. to go

and talk about what going to happen. Until then he is pressing

along.

We are also rounding up the little ones all this week for VBS!

They SO love it! I am trying to take as pics as possible because

it is their first time going. There is tons of activities, songs,

scripture studies for them, and just plain having a good time

in the Lord.

There She Is!!!

Here I am! I know that I have not been such a great blogger
latety but it is for a good reason. After spending 4 days in the
hospital my hubby is back home to me and is back to work.
They found out that he has a whole in the chamber of his heart
which has been causing his blood to clot then resulting in mini
strokes. All this time he has been walking around with this so
it is only by Gods grace he has been protected from a major
stroke. He is on blood thinners now and is scheduled six weeks
from now to have it corrected. Please continue to keep him in
your prayers. He is still a littel uneasy about the whole thing
especially having to take the blood thinners and all.
This month is my official first month designing for Scrap Faith and our
challenge is to define spirituality. In one simple word I could define this.
Relationship. It is the ultimate love story that God has for us and that he
wants to share. All He ask as our heavenly father, as earthly fathers, to
follow the plans that He has laid down for us. He knows what is best for us
in every aspect of life and seeks to protect us from all harms way including
ourselves. As we learn of His great love we in turn fall in love with Him
and strive to follow his ways not out of fear but love. We follow Him simply
because we want to please him. That is what spirituality means to me.

that I am still here. Last week family was here and this week

for the most part has been spent in the hospital with hubby.

We have been praying that the doctors finally get down to the

bottom of what has been causing his health issues. They took

different test this time and found that he has a whole near his

heart which is part of the problem. I say PART of the problem.

Tomorrow he has a few more test to go through and hopefully

he can come home while they plan the next steps to correct

these issues. So right now I am just plain exhausted.

This will be my second night spent without him so I am not

sleeping well. Please keep him, Vincent my hubby, and the rest

of us in prayer. Pray that there be no complications.

A New Chapter

Did you ever have a this lurking feeling that your life is about
to take on a new page or chapter? I have been feeling like that
the past few days. It is such a strange yet exciting thing. I
have let go of some things and planning for some new. Priorities
have been rearranging and shifting. There is just so much to
life and we can not be afraid to take the steps neccessary to take
in as much as we can and make the most of it. Lately for our
family it has been more Word and prayer. In my creativity
I have been contiplating new ideas, styles, and possibilities.
It is a breath of fresh air that I should have taken sooner.

Starting in July I will be back with PCI's tutorial again. It took a

couple of months to get back to it but it was neccessary with the

move and all. I am just glad to be getting back to my baby again!

Late Night Snipit

Yes, I am actually up but very tired! LOL! Just a little snipit of

an actual snip I had done to my hair. I think 2 inches was trimmed.

What a bitter sweet moment but neccessary if I want it to grow

healthy. The thought had crossed my mind to do something

daring and just have it cut but the forces that surround me, hubby/

mother, just won't let me give in to the thought. So it is back to the

idea of letting it just grow out. To how long, that is the question.....

Hi there all!!! I hope all the fathers out there had
a wonderful Fathers Day! My hubby sure seemed
like he had a pretty good time for the most part!
On Sabbath we went up to the mountains just to
get a little bit closer to God. It was so nice to get
out and breathe the fresh air. The little ones had
such a great time sifting through the dirt and
kicking up rocks. It like a different world to them.
On Sunday we went to my hubby's sister house to
spend time with Papa, Grandma, Aunt Chrisy,
Uncle Ben, and cousin Taylor! There was pool fun
and good ole summer food. Afterwards we had to
ship out to the Claim Jumper to celebrate with my
father, mother, sister, brother, his friend, and
cousin Kealsey. BUSY! My mother had her birthday
treat at the same time. At the end of the night we
were SO stuffed! What a blessing!

Just A Few Challenges Today

I am checkin in before the Sabbath hits! I have been workin
on tons of stuff like projects and organizing my scrap space!
There is still lots of stuff to unload and such but I think this
is the most organized I have ever been and I am LOVING it!
The lighting in my Mothers house is a little different so I have
to figure out how to ajust my photos to it. Here are a few
things that I have completed!

Over at the Shanty we are having a small contest on the board
between the members! We paired up and it has been so much
fun so far! This was my first page for the first weeks challenge.
We had to lift one of our partners pages. There is a lot of that
going around for me! LOL!

Not only is it my Mothers birthday but also OLW so I did this
page for their birthday celebration. We are taking my mother
out to eat tomorrow night.

I did this card at the beginning of the week for CPS and am just

getting around to posting it!

It has been a busy one this week and we are switching over internet

services so I feel like everything is up the air again. *SIGH*

I am also trying to get PCI back up and running here shortly. I still

have lots planned for this idea. One step at a time I guess.

I wanted to do a week long post project this week and hopefully will

be able to do it this upcoming week with a new internet setup.

That should cover everything for now.
